I Heart Friday

I <3 girls night! A bunch of friends and I usually get together friday evenings for a night in/out! There is not much to do in this town but when we get together we have lots of fun! A lot of silly conversation and laughing!! It had been a long time since I had hung out with these ladies and it was much needed!! I have been in this house too long with sick kids and crummy weather. We went to dinner and played some games and I laughed till i cried!!! It's been awhile since that has happened. Love it!! Heart friday is late, computer problems. I heart that it is spring!!! Although early last week it was "spring" and now we are back to winter...hopefully this does not last long!

I Heart Friday

I am feeling under the weather today so i am just going to say that I heart dates with my hubby! We went on a date yesterday...thank you Grandma and Papa!! It was nice to be away from the kids!! We went out for dinner and then bowling!! haven't gone bowling i ages!! Love it! We played three games and i beat him every time!! I'm not competitive ;D. I Love my man!!

Family Tree

I am soo fascinated with genealogy..and no not because Oprah was talking about it. I had watched a show with Sarah Jessica Parker and was fascinated with what she had found. Now all i know is that i have Norwegian, French( i assume because of my maiden name) and Scottish..but i have been digging! I am using the website Ancestry.ca. I have found that my Great Great Grandfather is from Norway...he was born 1885! So exciting but i am kinda stuck there...but i am enjoying the search!

I Heart Friday-Playkitchen

I have been thinking alot of what to get Emma bean for her first birthday. I Love the idea of the wooden play kitchen...i know she is a little young for one but they are so cute! We have a play stove, a hand me down from the church...needs some paint but it is a start to a great kitchen. Now i really kick myself, a year ago at the baby sale here there was an entire play kitchen set...i think it was 5 pieces for only $40... CRAZY uh and i past it up! Oh well next time i see one i will be buying it that's for sure...or i might just have to make one with the help of Peter of course! For now one can only dream!

I heart it Friday

I want to blog more...i know i say that all the time but i do! I keep pretty busy with two little ones...but i am going to try! Sooo with that said i want to do a new thing I <3 it Fridays!!! So here is the first installment...Birdhouses!! We had a few birds visit our trees yesterday morning and it got me thinking of beautiful birdhouses. Last year we had a birdhouse and many birds came!
