Family Tree

I am soo fascinated with genealogy..and no not because Oprah was talking about it. I had watched a show with Sarah Jessica Parker and was fascinated with what she had found. Now all i know is that i have Norwegian, French( i assume because of my maiden name) and Scottish..but i have been digging! I am using the website Ancestry.ca. I have found that my Great Great Grandfather is from Norway...he was born 1885! So exciting but i am kinda stuck there...but i am enjoying the search!

I Heart Friday-Playkitchen

I have been thinking alot of what to get Emma bean for her first birthday. I Love the idea of the wooden play kitchen...i know she is a little young for one but they are so cute! We have a play stove, a hand me down from the church...needs some paint but it is a start to a great kitchen. Now i really kick myself, a year ago at the baby sale here there was an entire play kitchen set...i think it was 5 pieces for only $40... CRAZY uh and i past it up! Oh well next time i see one i will be buying it that's for sure...or i might just have to make one with the help of Peter of course! For now one can only dream!

I heart it Friday

I want to blog more...i know i say that all the time but i do! I keep pretty busy with two little ones...but i am going to try! Sooo with that said i want to do a new thing I <3 it Fridays!!! So here is the first installment...Birdhouses!! We had a few birds visit our trees yesterday morning and it got me thinking of beautiful birdhouses. Last year we had a birdhouse and many birds came! But it fell and broke so i am on the hunt/dreaming of a new one! Here is some inspo from Weheartit.com...

Craft Swap!

Oh i am super excited to be a part of my first ever craft swap! I have a few ideas for what i will do for my partner!

I got the oportunity from Kate from skunkboy! She is super cute and sooo creative! i just started reading her blog a couple of months ago. she makes great stuffed animals!

New Computer!!

My honey got me a laptop for christmas and i am loving it!! One of my goals this year is to get all my pictures organized and to fix up this blog. Also with this new computer i will be updating my shops a bit more...things are a bit hectic around here but these are a few goals this year! Hope everyone had a great christmas and hope you all have a great 2010!!
